Sailpoint IAM Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement IAM solutions using SailPoint IdentityNow or IdentityIQ.

• Integrate SailPoint with various systems (e.g., Active Directory, HR systems, cloud apps, and databases).

• Configure and maintain identity lifecycle processes, access certifications, role-based access control (RBAC), and policies.

• Develop and maintain connectors for provisioning and deprovisioning access across systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues across the SailPoint platform.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity, IT, and compliance teams to align IAM practices with business needs.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, workflows, and user guides.

• Monitor and report on identity governance metrics and policy violations.

• Support security audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).

• Participate in the planning and execution of SailPoint upgrades and enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

• 3 5 years of hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityNow or IdentityIQ.

• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, access governance, and role modeling.

• Experience with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, BeanShell, XML, PowerShell).

• Familiarity with identity protocols (LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).

• Knowledge of cloud IAM integrations (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Workspace, O365).

• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integrating third-party systems with SailPoint.
