What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler position at DIGITAL MONITORING PRODUCTS?
The Assembler performs a variety of logistics and assembly functions to support production.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Good hand/eye coordination. Ability to handle small components with ease and perform neat work.
* Ability to read/follow detailed written/oral instructions.
* Ability to accurately record daily activity and/or specific observations.
* Ability to work with little or no supervision when given proper instruction.
* Possess basic computer skills.
* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities:
- Prepares components for assembly. Trims component leads, bends component leads, assembles heat sink and voltage regulator subassemblies and other component prep operations.
- Manually inserts components into printed circuit boards.
- Performs final assembly of products.
- Performs final test of products.
- Packages products as per instructions in shipping/storage containers.
