What are the responsibilities and job description for the On-Site Support Specialist position at DIGITAL MONITORING PRODUCTS?
The On-Site Support Specialist partners with DMP sales & training management and select dealers to implement and execute a robust targeted training strategy.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Electronics, or equivalent training.
- 5 years experience in the burglar/fire alarm industry, preferrable with DMP products
- 3 years experience providing hands on training to adult learners
- Ability to study and pass (90%) advanced RTM examinations.
- Has, or willing to obtain, the CTT certification.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as an embedded support specialist to select dealers following initial RTM technical training.
- Works with installation, service, and monitoring teams to make the transition to DMP a success.
- Accompanies dealers on installations and service calls to answer questions, provide assistance, etc.
- Provides receiver system, automation system, and remote programming software training and installation assistance.
- Assists dealer sales team in system design.
