What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Entry Specialist position at DIGITAL MONITORING PRODUCTS?
As an Order Entry Specialist, you will be expected to consistently deliver the best in care and customer service -- you will utilize your exceptional interpersonal and computer skills for entering customer orders.
Qualifications:
- Ability to convey competence, confidence and empathy over the phone.
- Ability to handle pressure situations with poise.
- High school education, preferably supplemented by training in office procedures and skills, and keyboarding and 10-key skills.
- Minimum of 2 years past experience in customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Provides excellent customer service to DMP's internal and external customers.
- Performs order entry functions such as taking customer orders via phone, email, or fax and accurately enters orders.
- Provides customers with backorder and shipment information, including COD totals, status of order, and when necessary, request and follow-up on shipment tracking and/or proof of delivery. Fields customer requests and responds within the same day. Documents customer requests and problem resolution dates.
- Maintains customer records and files related to own work. Organizes records and work efforts to assure timely accomplishment of tasks.
