What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paper Cutter Operator/Bindery Equipment Operator - Printing position at Digital Printing Solutions Inc?
We are hiring for Full-time, day shift Paper Cutter Operators and Bindery Equipment Operators (folders, collators, converters, die-cutters/numbering machines, stitchers, etc). Must have printing industry experience with programmable straight/guillotine paper cutters (Polar, Perfecta Cutters a plus), and/or other bindery equipment (Moll, MOB, Horizon, etc). RELIABILITY A MUST (show for work as scheduled). Attention to detail, professionalism, high energy, ability to multi-task, commitment to completing projects timely. Be open to working with others and willing to assist with other tasks and cross-train
-Prior printing industry experience with programmable straight/guillotine paper cutters required (Polar equipment preferred)
-Prior experience with die-cutting, numbering (windmill/cylinder) for printed material required
-Prior experience with other bindery equipment (folders, converters, stitchers, etc) required
-Dependable, Reliable and Positive Attitude - Be at work for scheduled shifts, on time, Team Player
-Position requires standing and walking throughout the day, moving and shifting, operating various equipment and lifting up to 50 pounds
-Occasional overtime possible/likely
-Open to working various operating positions is required
