What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative/Graphic Designer/Production Assistant position at Digital Printing Solutions?
Commercial print shop in Tempe, Arizona is looking for a customer service/graphic designer/production assistant. Our shops are fast paced and provide products and services primarily in a business-to-business capacity.
Required Skills:
-High level of proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite; primarily InDesign and Illustrator
-Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to follow complex instructions and multitask in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
-Excellent basic math and computer skills
-Superior customer service and problem solving skills
-Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred Skills:
-Experience communicating with customers and submitting files to vendors as well as understanding their requirements.
-Knowledge of digital printers such as Konica Minolta or Xerox and/or Offset Printing.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Preflight, prepare, printing customer files
- Typsesetting files
- Quoting / Estimating
- Work Ordering
- Invoicing
- Loading Paper and Printing Jobs
- Organizing Paper inventory
- Finishing Duties as needed
- Replying to client emails and answering phones
- Proactively seek to help commercial clients with all their printing
- Shifting focus to workflow bottlenecks
- Working closely in a team-oriented environment
The person entering this position will also cross train in other areas of shop operations and small equipment and will be expected to occasionally assist other departments.
