Delivery Driver and Warehouse Associate

The Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate is responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to customer locations, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries. This role requires operating company vehicles safely, handling warehouse duties such as order picking and inventory checks, and providing excellent customer service during drop-offs. The ideal candidate will be a dependable team player with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

In this role you will….

1. Delivery & Transportation:

• Operate a company box truck or delivery vehicle to transport orders to customers following assigned routes.
• Load and unload deliveries, ensuring items are handled carefully and securely.
• Follow all NYS traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
• Complete delivery logs, obtain customer signatures, and report any issues to management.

1. Warehouse & Inventory Support:

• Assist with order picking, packing, and verifying stock levels for outbound shipments.
• Report inventory discrepancies and damaged goods to the Procurement Manager.
• Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Participate in periodic inventory cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels.

1. Customer Interaction & Service:

• Represent the company professionally when making deliveries to customers.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules or order issues.
• Address customer concerns during drop-offs and report unresolved issues to management.

1. Vehicle Maintenance & Compliance:

• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (fuel levels, tire pressure, etc.).
• Maintain detailed records of mileage, fuel costs, and vehicle maintenance needs.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including lifting techniques and warehouse safety.

You've got what it takes if you have…

• Valid New York State Driver's License with a clean driving record for at least the last 12 months.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as carrying, loading, and unloading materials.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to meet delivery deadlines.
• Basic computer skills for managing delivery logs and inventory systems.
• Ability to work independently while following delivery schedules and warehouse protocols.
• Comfortable working in varied weather conditions while making deliveries.
• Must pass a drug test and fingerprint/background screening per company policy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a delivery driver, warehouse associate, or logistics worker.
• Familiarity with warehouse management software, GPS routing applications, and handheld inventory scanners.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with diverse clients professionally.

Pay Range: $18 - $22 per hour DOE
