What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Press Operator Level I position at Digital Room LLC?
We are actively hiring for the position of Digital Press Operator for our plant in Solon, OH
Shift: 1st Shift
Duties & Responsibilities
- Access IMS program to determine priority jobs and set workload for the day.
- Load the correct type of rolled paper to feed through the machine.
- Observe the HP machine while running to make any adjustments and ensure a smooth and accurate printed job comes out.
- Examine the paper that is being roll fed and look for any blemishes or image distortion and ensure it meets quality standards.
- Once the job is printed, safely take the printed roll and set it on the designated area for the ABG Operator.
- Record production and operational data using IMS system, such as entering completed jobs.
- Report any and all workplace hazards to management immediately.
- Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and is free of any safety hazards.
- Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs.
- Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned.

- Understand the imaging layouts and quality of printed jobs.
- Good problem-solving skills.

- Ability to read, write, speak & understand English.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management and co-workers.
