We are actively hiring for HR Generalist for our plant in Solon, Ohio
Duties and Responsibilities
- Talent Management: Responsible for full cycle recruiting, posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, extending job offers, and managing the onboarding process for new hires.
- Employee Benefit Administration: Managing employee benefit enrollments and resolving benefit-related issues.
- Performance Management: Coordinating training, reviewing reports, communicating and following up with managers on employee performance reviews.
- Employee Relations: Addressing employee concerns, investigating complaints, and ensuring a positive work environment.
- Employee Engagement: Implementing and coordinating employee engagement initiatives such as focus groups, one on one discussions, reward and recognition programs, and fun at work events.
- Leave of Absences: Managing the leave process, reviewing/approving leave requests, ensuring compliance with relevant laws such as FMLA, communicating with employees and managers regarding leave status and tracking leave usage.
- Policy Compliance: Communicating company policies to employees, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and helping address policy violations.
- Compliance Management/Law updates: Staying updated on employment laws and regulations, helping ensure the company adheres to legal requirements related to hiring, terminating, etc.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and help coordinate training (i.e., compliance training, etc.)
- KPI’s and Goals: Proactively report/analyze/identify trends on HR KPI’s (i.e., labor, attrition, recruiting, employee relations, etc.)
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to drive continuous improvement with existing HR processes/systems.
- Projects: Collaborate and/or lead HR projects (i.e., recruiting ATS, employer branding initiatives, fun at work, etc.)
- HR Audits/HRIS: Conduct HR Audits and Analysis. Ensure that the HRIS system and employee records are up to date and accurate.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
- 2 year experience with ADP Workforce Now
- 3 year experience with high volume recruiting
- 5 Human Resources experience
- BA/BS Degree preferred.
- PHR /SHRM- CP certification a plus
- Strong computer skills, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, MS office, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws
