We are actively hiring for an HR Representative for our plant in Wallingford, CT
Pay Range : $21 to $27 hourly. Actual compensation within the range will depend on a variety of factors including the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
The HR Representative is responsible for full lifecycle recruiting, creating / updating job descriptions, creating requisitions, job postings, job fairs, and interviews. The HR Representative is also responsible for entering background screen requests, managing the onboarding process, and conducting new hire orientation.
Duties and responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition – manpower planning, employer branding, candidate screening, interviews, background & drug screens, onboarding, and recruiting analytics.
- Assist with the Implementation of employee engagement initiatives such as focus groups, one-on-one discussions, reward and recognition programs, and fun at work events.
- Assist with employee relations such as providing guidance to managers on people-related issues. Assist in investigations to resolve all employee grievances in accordance with company policy while ensuring legal compliance.
- Assist with planning and organizing training and development initiatives.
- Assist with employee benefits administration.
- Ensure all policies, procedures, and programs are communicated and administered consistently.
- Assist with implementing and coordinating HR processes (performance management, etc.)
- Ensure that the HRIS system and employee records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs.
- Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned.
