We are actively hiring for the position of Packer for our plant in Van Nuys, CA.
Shift :
2nd Shift Monday to Thursday 2 : 00 PM to 10 : 00 PM, and 2 : 00 PM to 10 : 30 PM on Friday
3rd Shift Monday to Thursday 9 : 30 PM to 6 : 00 AM, and 9 : 00 PM to 5 : 30 AM on Sunday
Duties & Responsibilities
- Create different sizes of boxes to have ready for the workload of the day.
- As jobs are being moved from the cutting table, ensure quality and look for any imperfections such as color and alignment.
- Count the specific product to make sure the box contains enough of what the order requires.
- Ensure that the packed box is properly sealed to take to the shipping area.
- Report any and all workplace hazards to management immediately.
- Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and is free of any safety hazards.
- Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs.
- Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned.
