- assemble and try-out sheet metal stamping dies
- Safely operate presses, press feeder equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes, surface grinders and other machine tools.
- Responsible for quality and on time delivery of new tool build projects.
- Effectively communicate with engineering and quality team members when trouble shooting.
- Help train and mentor apprentices on how dies are built and supposed to function.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Tool and Die Maker
- set up and operate mahcine tools (surface grinders, drill presses, and milling machines).
- Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes
- Understand and use a wide range of precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effciently and thoroughly
- Dependable, strong work ethic, collaborative team member
- Good housekeeping skills
Additional Information
- 2nd Shift: Mon-Thur 4:15pm - 3:45am, Fri 4:15pm - 9:15pm
