Our Commerce Partnerships team plays a crucial part in DTMG’s broader digital marketing strategy, responsible for driving revenue through key accounts. The Account Executive role is at the forefront of driving revenue and growth for DTMG on the Commerce Partnerships Sales team.
An Account Executive is a sales professional, managing their own book of business, achieving quotas consistently, and driving recurring revenue for the company. They understand media sales and affiliate marketing, recommending video and editorial campaigns that will best hit their client’s goals.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Sell editorial and video content across Digital Trends properties
- Partner with brands to understand their business needs and objectives, close business, and driving recurring revenue
- Conduct consistent weekly outreach via email and phone to bring in new brand partners
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting brand partnerships
- Effectively communicate DTMG’s value proposition through proposals and presentations
- Keep up to date with industry trends, forces that shift tactical budgets, and strategic direction of accounts
- Partner with Client Services to ensure successful campaigns for Clients, report on performance, and drive renewal revenue.
Qualifications/Skills:
- 3-4 years of experience in media sales, affiliate marketing, or other relevant industries
- Experience meeting and exceeding monthly quotas
- Has proven experience in building client relationships, doing outreach, translating client goals into comprehensive media proposals, and closing business to meet revenue goals
- Experience working with client services team to execute campaigns and maintain client satisfaction
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in an office and remote environments
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines
Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
