VP Software Engineering – East Coast (US)
An experienced VP of Engineering is sought after by an international communications company. Based on the East Coast of the United States, they are looking for someone to lead their engineering teams in the development of their flagship platform. You will work closely with a number of department heads to ensure the effective development and scaling of a variety of products, leading the software engineering function in the United States.
Skills and experience needed:
- Previous experience in the scaling of cloud-based applications
- .NET background with skills in Azure
- Strong grasp of DevOps best practises, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools
- Previous leadership/management experience of software engineering teams including the implementation of strategic technical roadmaps
- Overseeing the design, architecture and development of cloud-based applications (using .NET and Azure)
- Personnel management experience (conducting performance reviews, training and mentoring)
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture and microservices
