Job Description
DigitalCM is seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Designer with experience designing for various platforms including web, iOS, Android, and Virtual/Augmented reality. As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a critical role in the user experience of our applications. We are looking for serious UI/UX Designers to ensure that all elements of the user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design.
Job Summary
- The candidate should have a great understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles, and be able to create designs that are both visually appealing and easy to use
- Work with engineers and other team members to develop simple and error-free deployment processes
- Extremely detail-oriented, ensuring that every aspect of the design meets the project requirements
- A personality and work style that fits with an agile mindset and culture
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in UI/UX or a similar field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of UI/UX design experience
- Experience developing for Apple products (iOS, iPadOS) framework
- Familiar with and interested in designing applications using Apple's design aesthetic
- Strong portfolio showcasing skills in user-centered design, information architecture, and visual design
- Experience with various design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Adobe CC Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc..), Visual Studio Code, Git, Azure DevOps
- Must be able to identify and solve problems, both technical and design-related
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at once
- Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
- Comply with the provisions of the corporations Standard Practice Procedures manual and DoD 5220.22-M when handling classified material to include generating, marking, storing, handling, and destroying of classified material. Comply with policies and procedures as set forth in the company’s Handbook of Policy and Procedures.
Additional Skills
- Experience with virtual and augmented reality is a plus
- Understanding of front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
