Class A - Machine Tool Builder - Mechanical

We are seeking a qualified Machine Tool Builder who will be responsible for fitting and assembling components according to assembly drawings and engineering manuals for immediate openings with our growing team. Qualifications
- Minimum of two to three years (5 preferred) prior experience with knowledge of basic mechanical and machining skills.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, fluid and pneumatic schematics.
- Basic math skills of ratios, weights & metric systems, with measurement skills.
- Experience with basic power hand tools, cutoff saws, grinders, mills, lathes and sanding equipment.
- Good organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and keeping equipment/work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Reading and understanding technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the assembly process.
- Installing and connecting mechanical components, such as fixtures, weldments, slides, spindles, probes, springs, seals, fittings, etc., to the machine being built.
- Following fluid schematics and assembly diagrams as well as performing basic debug and troubleshooting.
- Conducting comprehensive testing and inspection of the machine tool to ensure it meets performance and quality standards.
- Collaborating with design engineers, project managers, and other team members to resolve design or assembly issues.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
