• Position: Director of Nursing (DON)
• Location: PhiladelphiaPA
• Pay Rate: $69/hr
• Contract Duration: 9 weeks
• Shift: 8 hrs shifts (7:00 AM-3:30 PM)
• Guarantee hour: 40/hr

Summary:

The Director of Nursing (DON) oversees and coordinates nursing operations within a healthcare facility, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards. This leadership role involves managing nursing staff, developing policies and procedures, and collaborating with other departments to optimize care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, hire, and train nursing staff.
• Manage schedules to ensure adequate staffing and continuity of care.
• Provide mentorship, support, and performance evaluations for nurses.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Monitor nursing practices to align with evidence-based standards and organizational goals.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to evaluate patient outcomes and care delivery.
• Address and resolve any patient care concerns or complaints.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in DON
• Active BLS
• Covid card
• PA state License

Experience:

• RN: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• RN License (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Philadelphia, PA: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
