Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team in providing exceptional care to our residents. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in home care and health services, ensuring compliance with resident rights and medical regulations. This leadership role requires a commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care while fostering a supportive environment for both staff and residents.

Duties

• Oversee the nursing department, ensuring that all staff adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
• Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain resident confidentiality at all times.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal health outcomes for residents.
• Monitor quality assurance measures and implement improvements as necessary.
• Stay updated on medical terminology, Medicare regulations, and best practices in assisted living and home health care.

Experience

• Proven experience in home care or home health settings is preferred.
• Strong understanding of resident rights and commitment to advocating for patient welfare.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising nursing staff.
• Familiarity with creating and managing care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and Medicare guidelines is essential.
• Previous experience in assisted living environments is a plus.

Pay: $65.00 - $69.00 per hour
