Location: Newport Health Center – Newport, NH (New London Hospital Network)

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift Type: Day Shift
Shift Times: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Weekend Requirements: None (holiday coverage if needed)
On-Call Requirements: None
Facility Type: Family Medicine Clinic
Travel Radius Rule: Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Position Overview:
Newport Health Center, a part of New London Hospital and the Dartmouth Health Network, is seeking a reliable and experienced LPN or LVN for a 13-week contract in its Family Medicine department. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with clinical office experience, strong phone triage skills, and the ability to work with patients of all ages in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a Family Medicine outpatient setting
- Perform vital signs, injections, medication administration, and patient assessments
- Assist with routine exams and procedures
- Handle phone triage, scheduling, and patient follow-up
- Document all interactions using EPIC EMR (highly preferred)
- Coordinate with providers and support staff for optimal patient outcomes
- Stay late on clinic extended days (2 times per week as needed)
Qualifications:
- Active LPN/LVN license in the state of New Hampshire or compact license
- BLS certification (AHA required)
- Minimum 3 years of current LPN/LVN experience
- Clinical office experience – Required
- Experience with phone triage – Required
- Must be comfortable working with patients of all ages
- Experience with EPIC EMR – Highly Preferred
- Previous travel experience – Preferred
- Must have own reliable transportation
