Title: LPN

Duration: 10 Weeks

Shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30PM

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience in various medical settings, including ophthalmology and assisted living facilities. This role requires excellent clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, and a commitment to providing high-quality care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
• Assist in triage and assessment of patients in a Level II Trauma Center environment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including dermal fillers and botulinum toxin treatments.
• Perform venipuncture for blood draws and other necessary procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients leaving the facility.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Support patients with daily living activities and mobility assistance, including lifting when necessary.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills in patient assessment and care management.
• Experience or knowledge in ophthalmology practices is preferred.
• Proficient in performing venipuncture and administering injections.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments, such as trauma centers.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Knowledge of discharge planning processes and assisted living care standards.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient-centered care.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week

Work Location: In person
