Guaranteed Hours- 40
Pay- $30-$35/hr on w2
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and hospice care. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in patient care, assisting with daily activities and ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with IV infusion therapy and catheter care as needed.
- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness practices.
- Support patients with behavioral health needs through compassionate communication and care.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in hospital settings or long-term care facilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of anatomy, IV infusion techniques, and catheter care is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hospice care principles is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in medical office or clinic settings is advantageous.
