Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in supporting patients' health and well-being, particularly in settings that focus on geriatrics, home community care, and critical care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Assist with tube feeding and acute pain management for patients as needed.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health management, medication administration, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including coding for medical billing purposes.
- Support patients with daily living activities, emphasizing dignity and respect.
Requirements
- Submission Requirements
- 3 year CURRENT experience (within 6 mos) - NON-NEGOTIABLE
- Must be willing to float
- IV CERTIFIED Required
- Previous travel experience – Highly Preferred
- Rural/small facility experience – Highly Preferred
