Job Description:
Contract- LVN/LPN
Shift- Days 8 hours
Location-New London, NH
Pay Rate- $40-$48/hr on w2
Local travelers (Those who reside within 21-75 miles of facility) must be uploaded at a 10% reduction of posted rate. Facility will not consider any traveler residing within 20 miles of hospital.
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including pediatrics, behavioral health, and nursing homes. As an LVN, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and well-being of our patients while working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record vital signs to assess patient conditions.
- Provide health coaching to patients and their families to promote wellness.
- Assist in IV insertion and management for patients requiring intravenous therapy.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a Level II Trauma Center environment.
- Deliver care to patients with behavioral health needs, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere.
- Support the care of individuals with disabilities, adapting approaches as necessary.
- Utilize eClinicalWorks for documentation and patient management.
- Conduct basic sonography as needed within your scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
Submission Requirements:
- 2 years LPN experience in Clinic Setting
- PEDIATRIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS NEED!
- URGENT CARE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Experience with patients of all ages - Required
- Previous travel experience - Preferred
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
- BLS (AHA)
- New Hampshire
