Contract: 8 weeks
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to nursing staff and assist patients with daily living activities. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients, particularly in senior care settings and emergency medicine environments.
Duties
As a Nursing Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting patients with personal hygiene, grooming, and daily living activities.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs to ensure patient health and safety.
- Administering medications as prescribed and ensuring accurate medical documentation.
- Providing support in a Level II Trauma Center or ICU setting when necessary.
- Assisting with mobility and transferring patients safely.
- Engaging with patients to provide emotional support and companionship.
- Collaborating with nursing staff to develop care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Supporting individuals with disabilities by providing specialized care as required.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients at all times.
Experience
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Previous experience in senior care, home care, or a healthcare setting is preferred.

- Familiarity with medication administration procedures and medical documentation practices.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
