Summary
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will be essential in delivering compassionate patient care and supporting the healthcare team in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Your core skills in basic life support, patient service, and medical documentation will ensure high-quality care for patients. With premium experience in critical care and long-term care, you will assist individuals with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities and Alzheimer's. Your commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and proficiency in EMR systems will enhance patient safety and satisfaction in our organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient conditions using EMR and EHR systems.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes, particularly in long-term care and assisted living settings.
- Support patients with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's, and memory care needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification
- BLS certification
- Proficient in patient care and medical documentation
- Knowledge of EMR and EHR systems, including Epic and Cerner
- Understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
- Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or hospital settings
