Position- RN Med Surg
Contract- 13 Weeks
Shift- Nights-12hr Nights , Float to other units as needed 36hr Guarantee. NOTE: WEIRTON WEEK BEGINS SATURDAY 7PM AND ENDS SATURDAY 6.59PM
Location-Weirton, WV

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, with the ability to provide high-quality patient care in various settings including hospitals, nursing homes, and community care environments. This role requires excellent patient assessment skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine health status and needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
- Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures and other medical imaging as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the healthcare facility.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records.
Submission Requirements
- 3 Years CURRENT MS experience - Required
- Rehab experience - A plus but not required
- 5 Years of Nursing Experience - Required
- BSN - Preferred
- Sorian EMR experience - Preferred
- Two Years of Previous travel experience - Required
