We are embarking on a transformative journey to optimize our Quote-to-Cash (QTC) process using Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ, CLM) and are looking for a highly experienced Salesforce CPQ Technical Architect to provide the technical leadership and architectural vision for this critical initiative. Our goal is to implement a scalable, efficient, and future-proof Salesforce Revenue Cloud solution to streamline our Quote-to-Cash processes. This requires a seasoned Technical Architect who can translate business requirements into a robust technical architecture, guide the development team, and ensure the successful delivery of a high-quality CPQ implementation, with a focus on integrations with SAP and our provisioning applications.
Responsibilities:
As our Salesforce CPQ Technical Architect, you will:
- Lead a Transformative Initiative: Play a pivotal role in a high-impact Salesforce Revenue Cloud transformation project.
- Make a Significant Impact: Shape the technical direction of our Quote-to-Cash processes and contribute to our overall business success.
- Defi ne the Technical Vision: Lead the definition of the technical architecture for the Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ) implementation, ensuring it aligns with business goals, scalability requirements, and integration needs.
- Architect and Design Solutions: Design and architect comprehensive CPQ solutions, including data models, integrations, customizations, and security considerations.
- Provide Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
- Oversee Integration Design: Lead the design and implementation of integrations with critical systems, including SAP for financial data and our proprietary provisioning applications, ensuring data integrity and seamless flow.
- Ensure Scalability and Performance: Design solutions that are scalable, performant, and maintainable to support our growing business needs.
- Evaluate and Recommend Technologies: Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and tools within the Salesforce ecosystem to meet project requirements.
- Establish Development Standards: Define and enforce development standards and best practices for CPQ development.
- Conduct Technical Reviews: Perform technical reviews of design documents, code, and configurations to ensure quality and adherence to architectural principles.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders, functional architects, developers, and technical project managers to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce Revenue Cloud features and industry best practices.
- Document the Architecture: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and integration plans.
What You Bring:
- End to End Sales Quote to cash process: Experienced understanding of multiple CPQ tools, end to end business process knowledge, understanding of integration and data modeling related to QTC
- Deep Salesforce CPQ, CLM and Billing Expertise: Extensive experience with Salesforce CPQ and Billing, with a strong understanding of the underlying platform architecture.
- Proven Architectural Experience: Demonstrated experience in designing and architecting complex Salesforce CPQ solutions for enterprise-level organizations.
- Integration Mastery: Significant experience designing and implementing integrations between Salesforce and other systems, particularly SAP and other enterprise applications.
- Technical Leadership Skills: Proven ability to provide technical leadership, mentor development teams, and drive technical decision-making.
- Strong Understanding of QTC Processes: In-depth knowledge of Quote-to-Cash processes and how Salesforce Revenue Cloud supports them.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Experience with Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Salesforce Certified Systems Architect, along with Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, are highly preferred.
