Job summary : We are seeking a highly experienced Program Manager with 13 to 16 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP Tax, SAP Ariba, and SAP PMO Project scheduling. This role requires domain experience in Manufacturing and Supply Chain, as well as Research and Development. The work model is hybrid with day shifts and no travel required.
Job Description/ Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and track of all production-related activities required to support successful deployments
- Besides the regular project management skills and expertise, should have an understanding of SAP and Tax engine, prior experience with tax upgrades Implementation planning and dependency analysis for both major and maintenance release cycles
- Identify risks, cross application dependencies and downstream impacts per release
- Establish and communicate master release schedule
- Design and implement efficient procedures for the distribution and implementation of IT changes into production
- Facilitate issue tracking and resolution of post go live activities where required
- Manage scope and schedule of releases
- Creation and communication of release status implementation scorecard and executive status reporting
- Assist in the prioritization of enhancements and changes into release packages
- Develop process for emergency and exception releases
- Participate in weekly Change Advisory Board meetings
- Consolidate and publish Release Notes for each deployment
- Ensure compliance with IT processes including proper documentation, reviews and approvals of related changes
- Provide timely escalation to IT Leadership where necessary/appropriate
Top 3 skills required for this role:
- SAP Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP modules relevant to tax processes.
- Tax Engine Expertise: Familiarity with tax engines (like Sabrix, or OneSource)and integration with SAP.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies/JIRA.
