- We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team. He /she will use various methods to capture, deep dive the client requirements.
- It is must that the BA should have expertise in material management, MDM, bill of material, suppliers, etc
- Candidate should be energetic, presentable, vocal, with extremely good in attitude, oral and written communication along with interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Liaison closely with client stakeholders and get clarity on the understanding
- Do a play back session making sure the requirements understood are exactly in sync with expectations
- Understand some implicit requirements, call out and get confirmation on the same
- Create functional flows using better tools like Visio/concept draw
- Engage with offshore team to help them translate the functional requirements converted into the technical flows
- Conversant with creating workflows, charts, use case documents, translate business requirements, sense the priorities
- Get the required wireframes created from the UX designer and validate them with the client and obtain signoff
- Use his /her experience and business domain knowledge to help the development team get upto speed on few areas where they lag
- Requirements and skills
- 8 to 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst involved in end to end project delivery.
- Good exposure on visual tools needed for diagrammatic presentation of functional flows
- Basic idea of wireframing
- Great analytical skills

- Educational Qualification- Subject matter expertise and understanding of Products, Materials, Bill of materials, suppliers, or supply chain for an organization, working with the product lifecycle management application.
- This person will work closely with Internal teams and with the External Partners that haven't been defined yet, including the offshore teams.
- Beneficial: Subject matter expertise and understanding of Products, Materials, Bill of materials, suppliers, or supply chain for an organization, working with the product lifecycle management application.
- The biggest part of the project is what we call a vertical product, which is client owned and operated product. But there is a component to making updates for licensing partners--that scope is a little bit smaller and simpler. For publishing, it's more about defining the UI requirements, and assisting with wire frames.
- Those partners will typically be doing self-reporting in applications, nothing advanced. With a vertical product, there's going to be significant changes with our product lifecycle management application.
- Tool is called flex PLM. Exposure to Flex PLM is beneficial, but the most critical piece is really the ability to elicit requirements. Individual will document everything, be organized, work with a project managers, other product owners, HM, developers, and offshore teams. Must be able to articulate what the project is about, what the requirements are.
- The next phase of project will recapture very specific acceptance criteria that allows us to complete the test on our side and to prepare for the user acceptance testing (UAT) eventually.
