Position Overview:
Full-time position with standard working hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Some evening or weekend hours may be required for special events or activities.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to engage with clients in meaningful activities. Staff members will be part of a team dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for clients through individualized care, tailored activities, and consistent support.
Key Responsibilities:
○ Lead and facilitate activities that encourage client participation and engagement.
○ Ensure clients' safety and well-being during all activities by following safety protocols and providing supervision.
○ Provide assistance with daily living skills such as feeding, hygiene, dressing, and mobility, as outlined in the clients' treatment plans.
○ Document clients' progress, behaviors, incidents, and any significant changes in their conditions or mood.
○ Administer medication as per policies, ensuring accurate documentation and proper client observation.
○ Accompany clients to planned activities, including transportation and ensuring their needs are met during trips.
○ Create a calm, supportive environment that minimizes sensory overload and encourages participation.
○ Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage client involvement and engagement in activities.
○ Modify the approach to activities to meet the individual needs of clients, including offering one-on-one support and adapting the difficulty level.
○ Maintain accurate and timely records of daily activities, incidents, and any interventions in accordance with Company's policies.
○ Complete daily progress reports and ensure all required documentation is submitted on time.
○ Follow state laws and regulatory requirements related to client care and program operations.
○ Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry best practices.
○ Participate actively in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve client care and the program's overall success.
○ Provide support to team members when necessary, ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction.
○ Report repair or maintenance needs for the facility and vehicles promptly.
○ Accurately document mileage for client transportation and provide receipts for any purchases made during work-related tasks.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college education preferred)
- Experience working with individuals with brain injuries or disabilities is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and empathetic in challenging situations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A valid driver's license and the ability to transport clients (if required)
- First Aid and CPR certification (preferred, or willing to obtain)
- Ability to assist clients with mobility and physical activities
- Ability to lift and carry equipment, materials, and assist with client transfers when necessary
