Dignity Physician Careers seeks a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our ER-Hospitalist program in Baudette, Minnesota. Your expertise will be valued as you conduct emergency room consults, manage inpatient care, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
">Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, developing comprehensive treatment plans as needed.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories, providing clear and concise medical information to patients and families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to coding and billing regulations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, and perform procedures as necessary.
- Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation, participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
- Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety, contributing to quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
">Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field, with Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing Practice or Physician Assistant Studies.
- Two years of experience in Emergency Room or Inpatient settings, with one year of experience in specialty area, preferred.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Hospital Medicine.
- ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications, or equivalents.
- Unrestricted Minnesota practice license and DEA qualification, required.
- Shift-based condensed work schedule, with ten 24-hour shifts per month considered full-time.
