A minority-owned business of approximately 30 professionals, DIG is an architecture, interior design and graphic design firm with studios specializing in education, healthcare, senior housing and community-civic. We value diverse perspectives and a collaborative spirit, and we are seeking to expand our team to fill this full-time Interior Design position.
Desired Qualifications:
- 3 - 5 years of experience
- NCIDQ Certification or pursuing certification
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree from CIDA accredited Interior Design or Interior Architecture program
Technical Skills/Expertise:
- Proficiency in computer software programs including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite
- Photorealistic rendering capabilities- Enscape preferred
- Understanding of life safety codes and ADA compliance
- Knowledge of interior materials and characteristics for durability and sustainability
- Passion for design and conveying ideas artistically
Job Responsibilities:
- Report to Senior Interior Designer(s) and Director of Interior Design
- Work as part of a team
- Communication and documentation of design concepts, finishes, furniture and related project tasks
- Responsible for organizing and keeping Material Library current
- Maintain project drawings files
- Coordination with design team, client, consultants and contractors
- Produce technical drawings for all phases of projects
- Produce material finish palettes, boards and renderings for client presentations
- Exemplify DIG values at professional functions/events/networking
- Professional representative of DIG
