Position Summary:
Adult, Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Service (ACAPS), a leading medical practice dedicated to comprehensive mental healthcare, is seeking a qualified Adult and Child Psychiatrist to join our growing practice in McKinney, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with adult and child patients, a fellowship in psychiatry, and a passion for providing exceptional mental healthcare.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for patients of all ages.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy.
- Provide psychotherapy sessions to patients, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals and primary care providers.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Participate in case conferences and treatment planning meetings.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in child and adult psychiatry.
Qualifications:
- MD degree in Psychiatry.
- Board-certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and General Psychiatry.
