Position Summary:
Adult, Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Service (ACAPS), a leading medical practice dedicated to comprehensive mental healthcare, is seeking a skilled Master's level Psychologist to provide therapeutic services to adult clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in adult psychotherapy, with experience in a variety of therapeutic modalities. The therapist will play a crucial role in helping clients develop coping mechanisms, manage life stressors, and achieve their mental health goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for adult clients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals and primary care providers as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records.
- Participate in case conferences and treatment planning meetings.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and evidence-based practices in child and adolescent mental health.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Psychology or a related field from an accredited program.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in the state of Texas.
