About the Position
This position requires a minimum of five years previous in-plant inspection experience, including production of standard heavy-duty transit buses. The ideal candidate must be experienced with or certified in welding inspection and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, digital photography, and internet transmission of digital photographs and electronic reports.
Responsibilities:
- Review installation drawings, electrical schematics, manuals, non-conforming material tags, welding inspection, and other documentation as needed for each unit in production for detail and accuracy.
- Review the manufacturer's Quality Assurance plan to ensure the manufacturer is following its processes.
- Review the documentation for each identified station of the manufacturing process for the work tasks and materials, including verification that the work tasks and materials are current, per contractual specifications.
