Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our team at DiLandro Andrews Engineering. Our structural engineers bring high-end residential visions to life by ensuring the integrity and longevity of luxury homes throughout various regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare permit sets, construction drawings, and designs of residential and commercial building structures.
- Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other data received from architects, designers, and engineers.
- Utilize current industry software tools to perform structural analysis and design.
- Visit site and/or client offices as required by the project.
- Work with assigned task scope and budget, coordinate with client and team to develop effective and efficient solutions.
- Provide construction administration services and field engineering services as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering required.
- 1-2 years of post-graduate Structural Engineering design experience required.
- Working knowledge of current industry software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Ram Structural Systems, and Enercalc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Construction and leadership experience preferred.
- Strong team player who can work on several projects simultaneously.
- Ability to climb ladders, walk on roofs, and enter confined spaces for site visits.
