The Facebar is looking for a dynamic, positive, energetic, hard-working individual to join our busy non-invasive medical spa practice for the position of Medical Assistant Receptionist. Position Activities and Responsibilities:
Greets/checks in all clients and completes all sales transactions
Assists with insurance eligibility and copay/coinsurance collection with our medical Botox patients
Providing patient support (eg. assisting with BotoxOne and reimbursement) with our medical Botox patients
Coordinating patient care (arranging paperwork and assisting with medical prior authorizations) with our medical Botox patients
Displays knowledge of spa treatments and products
Assists with merchandising and maintaining inventory
Accurately completes all sale transactions
Facilitates effective workflow for service provider team
Attends and participates in all general and team meetings
Participates in all necessary aspects of marketing/special event planning and execution
Mentors/trains new team members to help them grow
Professional communication and phone management skills
Performs opening (must report to work on time) and closing duties timely and accurately
Treat all team members and clients professionally
Desired Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Certified medical assistant
Medical insurance experience desired
Previous prior authorization experience desired
EMR experience desired
Good organizational skills and follow-through
Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Able to complete assigned tasks efficiently and independently
