Our Portland, ME location has immediate opportunities for owner-operators / independent contract delivery drivers to join our operation. All drivers in the listed areas and surrounding cities, we want to hear from you! We are looking for Medical courier drivers looking to drive and make money. Please understand that this requires a lot of driving of your personal vehicle. Miles from 75 to 285 per day. So if you are still reading then I know that you are truly interested.

As a 1099 contract driver, your role involves working as an independent contractor, often on a project-by-project basis. Here are some common responsibilities for 1099 drivers:

• Delivery Services: You’ll transport goods, packages, or supplies from one location to another. This could include medical supplies, or other items12.
• Vehicle Operation: You’ll operate your own vehicle to complete deliveries. Following routes and adhering to safety regulations are essential.
• Communication: Timely communication with clients or dispatchers is crucial. You’ll need to provide updates on delivery status and any issues that arise.
• Equipment and Supplies: As an independent contractor, you’ll be responsible for providing your own equipment (such as a vehicle) and necessary supplies.
• Record Keeping: Keeping accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and expenses is essential for your taxes.

Immediate Driver Opportunities:

• Vehicles Needed: Compact or Economical vehicles, SUV, Minivan, Small Pickup trucks.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday same day routes, and Saturday & Sunday routes will also be available.
• Compensation: Varies based on routes that drivers run, Routes can range from $700 to $1400 a week.

Independent Contract Driver Requirements:

• Delivery Knowledge: Driver experience preferred but not required
• Understanding of Directions: Must have a smart phone and able to find your way around your delivery area with a GPS or map
• Professionalism: Dependable and responsible individual able to interact well alongside staff members, management and clients. Excellent customer service skills
• Good Standing Driving Record: Driver license, insurance, and a 3-year Motor Vehicle Report (obtained in the last 30 days) also need a current vehicle registration.
• Valid Driver’s License, Social Security Card and vehicle insurance is needed
• Must Be 21 Years or Older!!!!!!!!! This is non negotiable.
