SEO Specialist (Part-Time)

Diligent Delivery Systems has an immediate opening for a Part-Time SEO Specialist. This is a remote position with monthly visits to the corporate office in Houston as needed.

This position works directly with our Marketing Manager and will help to improve the company’s search engine rankings, clean up backlinks across all locations, optimize paid and organize search strategies, and drive lead generation.

This is a part-time position dedicating 20 hours per week to tasks assigned.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (The below-listed duties are not all inclusive. This position must perform other duties as assigned.):

1. SEO Optimization & Backlink Management

• Audit and clean up backlinks for all Diligent locations to improve domain authority.
• Ensure accurate business listings and citations across Google, Bing, and other directories.
• Enhance local SEO strategies to improve visibility in key service areas.

2. Search Engine Rankings & Content Optimization

• Optimize on-page SEO, including meta tags, headings, alt text, and structured data.
• Conduct keyword research to align content with high-value search terms.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to refresh and repurpose existing campaigns for SEO improvement.
• Work with the Marketing Manager and follow a marketing strategy to understand campaigns and follow implementation plans, ensuring SEO is developed to optimize audience reach.

3. Google Business Profile Management

• Manage multiple Google Business Profile pages for each Diligent location.
• Ensure business profiles are optimized with accurate information, keywords, and regular updates.
• Monitor and respond to customer reviews and engagement to enhance local SEO.
• Track performance metrics to assess improvements in visibility and audience reach.

4. PPC & Budget Management

• Assist in setting and refining PPC (Pay-Per-Click) budgets.
• Analyze and optimize paid search performance to maximize conversions.
• Implement A/B testing to refine ad strategies and improve CTR (Click-Through Rates).

5. Lead Generation & Performance Tracking

• Develop and execute strategies to generate organic and paid leads.
• Track conversion rates and analyze SEO’s impact on customer acquisition.
• Provide bi-weekly reports on SEO improvements, ranking changes, and lead metrics.

Performance Tracking & Monitoring

To measure the effectiveness of the SEO Specialist, the following tracking methods will be implemented:

• SEO Performance Reports:
• Bi-weekly updates on keyword rankings, organic traffic, and domain authority.
• Quarterly deep-dive reports with comparative data to measure progress.
• Lead Generation Metrics:
• Tracking organic lead conversion rates and paid campaign ROI.
• Identifying high-performing keywords that drive new business inquiries.
• Backlink & Citation Audit:
• Monthly reports detailing backlink health and location-based ranking improvements.
• Monitoring Google My Business (GMB) insights for customer engagement trends.
• PPC Performance & Budget Efficiency:
• Weekly monitoring of ad spend vs. lead generation effectiveness.
• Adjusting PPC campaigns based on real-time analytics.

Reporting & Accountability

• The SEO Specialist will work remotely and report directly to the Marketing Manager and Corporate Growth Officer.
• A structured reporting framework will include:
• Weekly performance check-ins
• Bi-weekly progress updates
• Monthly strategy meetings to adjust efforts based on performance data
