Job Summary
As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Subject Matter Expert (SME) at Diligent Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our ERP systems, specifically Finance & Operations (F&O) and Warehouse Management modules. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of these systems, aligning them with our business processes, and driving continuous improvement within the organization.
This role is integral to Diligent Solutions’ growth and will have a direct impact on improving operational efficiencies, streamlining financial processes, and optimizing warehouse management systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and supply chain, to ensure that Dynamics 365 delivers maximum value to client.
Your contributions will be critical in supporting business growth, increasing user adoption, and enabling data-driven decision-making.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Expertise:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the Finance & Operations module, guiding clients in best practices for finance, accounting, procurement, and project management processes.
- Oversee the configuration and implementation of F&O, ensuring alignment with clients financial processes and regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on financial data management, reporting, and analytics to support decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- Lead the implementation and optimization of the Warehouse Management module within Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring that inventory management, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations are efficient and accurate.
- Design, configure, and enhance warehouse processes, from receiving goods to order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Work with stakeholders to improve warehouse workflows, including integration with other modules (e.g., Supply Chain, Sales, and Distribution).
3. System Administration & Development:
- Manage the day-to-day administration of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 system, including user management, security roles, and system settings.
- Implement and oversee customization and development efforts, including writing scripts, workflows, and extensions as needed.
- Collaborate with the development team to create integrations with external systems and applications, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
4. Training & Support:
- Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the use of Dynamics 365 features, ensuring user adoption and proficiency.
- Act as the point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving complex system issues, offering solutions and workarounds as necessary.
- Document best practices, troubleshooting guides, and standard operating procedures to facilitate training and future system upgrades.
5. Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with updates and new features of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and proactively implement new functionality to enhance the organization's processes.
- Recommend and implement system improvements, conducting regular reviews to assess system performance and user feedback.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing business processes and workflows within the F&O and Warehouse Management modules.
6. Collaboration and Strategy:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to align the system capabilities with organizational goals and identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains.
- Lead or participate in projects aimed at enhancing Dynamics 365’s functionality and usability across the organization.
