In this role, you will provide administrative support to our Housing Program by performing clerical and administrative tasks under the supervision of the Housing Manager. You will uphold the principles of WIHCC's Vision, Mission, and Value Statements and maintain confidentiality of all privileged information at all times.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. They will be dependable in attendance and job performance, with a strong analytical, mediating, and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in an office environment, preferably in housing or a related field. Bilingual skills in English and Navajo language are also preferred.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining regular attendance and punctuality, performing positive customer service, and directing clients to the appropriate staff or department. You will receive and log all correspondence related to tenant(s), including work orders, home inspections, appliances, and home warranty issues. You will also assist clients with the search for available properties, collaborate with local housing agencies and community organizations, and provide clients with information about their rights and responsibilities as tenants.
