The Visual Studio Developer will be involved with all aspects of programming focus in analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining programs in a Microsoft Visual Studios environment which will supplement the ERP system (E21), manufacturing, warehouse / shipping, engineering, and management.
Essential Functions
- Maintain existing in-house software using Visual Studio.
- Design, test and develop new in-house software using Visual Studio and VB.
- Research technologies and develop plans for improvement projects.
- Ascertain IT department skills and develop a plan to cross-train members as needed.
- Provide support for user technical issues and assist with training.
- Documentation of code (current and updates), procedures and uses.
- Work with other departments to understand the needs and refinement of applications.
- Prepare and support users.
- Ability to assist with helpdesk tickets regarding hardware or software from time to time.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
