Dillanos Coffee Roasters is seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor to lead and oversee the Maintenance and Facilities Department at our 125,000-square-foot roasting and distribution facility in Sumner. This position will also oversee the Preventative Maintenance and Repair Programs of production equipment in our Zillah and Spokane locations. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our operations by maintaining all production equipment, building systems, company vehicles, and facility grounds. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong technical background and experience in process development, preventative maintenance, and team management.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Facility & Equipment Maintenance
- Manage all repairs, maintenance, and upgrades for production equipment, warehouse systems, vehicles, and building infrastructure.
- Develop and oversee a Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Utilize software to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and service history.
- Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and cleaning supplies.
- Schedule and coordinate all building and grounds maintenance projects, upgrades, and repairs.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and facility improvements.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the building, maintenance shop, equipment areas, and general facility grounds.
Process & System Development
- Establish and refine maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Prioritize and delegate incoming work tickets to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.
- Implement standardized safety and compliance protocols in alignment with OSHA regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain clear organization systems and cleanliness standards for all maintenance tools, supplies, and workspaces.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and oversee the Maintenance & Facilities team, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Provide ongoing training, support, and development to ensure team members have the necessary skills and resources.
- Foster a culture of accountability, organization, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate effectively with leadership and other departments.
- Promote and enforce standards of cleanliness, organization, and visual order throughout the department and facility.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in maintenance and facilities management, preferably in a food production or manufacturing environment.
- 2 years of supervisory experience with a proven ability to manage and develop a team.
- Strong technical knowledge of production equipment, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance systems.
- Experience in or strong ability to implement and utilize maintenance tracking software.
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving, prioritization, and self-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs., stand, walk, bend, and sit as required.
- Willingness to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification.

Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
