What are the responsibilities and job description for the Area Sales Manager - Salaried position at Dillard's, Inc.?
Dillards’s is currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our management team!
Must have prior experience in Retail management, understanding of fashion merchandising, and proven experience in managing a group of within a sales expectation.
Our Managers are responsible for attaining established sales, gross margin, staffing, credit, and inventory goals for the assigned area.
All managers must recruit, coach, and supervise all associates assigned to the area. This includes reviewing job performance, addressing disciplinary concerns, and motivating all associates to achieve established sales goals.
Managers must also direct all activities in the assigned area including merchandising, staffing, price changes, inventory control, and general upkeep of the area. Responsibilities include serving as your teams leader by modeling and instructing all sales support functions and achieving the highest levels of service indicators.
Managers will also participate in all store opening/closing procedures, assist with associate and/or customer concerns, and any other duties assigned or apparent that are necessary for business operations.
All candidates should be able to possess and/or be able to provide experiences and references for the following:
*Has a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and is reliable
*Managed a team of 5 or more and has achieved success or growth through leadership and strategic planning.
*Experience in Customer Service, Conflict Resolution, or Coaching team members to achieve desired results.
*Understands the value of leadership and able to demonstrate all expectations of subordinates
*Able to pick up technology easily, read/write/speak clearly, have high interest in analysis of purchases and business strategy.
