- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking shelves and ensuring product availability
- Process customer transactions accurately using the POS (Point of Sale) system
- Utilize retail math skills to calculate discounts, sales tax, and change for cash transactions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest beauty trends, products, and techniques
- Utilize salon software to schedule appointments and manage client information
- Communicate effectively with customers to build rapport and establish long-term relationships
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
Skills:
- Proficient in stock management, including restocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
- Knowledge of POS systems for processing customer transactions
- Strong understanding of retail math principles for accurate pricing calculations
- Familiarity with salon software for scheduling appointments and managing client information
- Basic math skills for calculating discounts, sales tax, and change during cash transactions
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and provide exceptional service
- Ability to upsell products or services to increase sales revenue
- Experience operating a cash register or handling cash transactions is preferred
- Fluency in Spanish or other languages is a plus, as we serve a diverse clientele
