We are looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable Full Time James Avery and Branded Jewelry Shop Manager. James Avery is a Texas based line known for its sterling silver designs and charm bracelets.
Job Description:
This role combines leadership and sales expertise to provide our customers with exceptional experiences. As the James Avery Shop Manager, you will be responsible for the overall growth and success while selling and managing and growing the clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
Department Leadership: Take ownership of the jewelry department, setting the vision and strategy for growth.
Product Knowledge: Possess an in-depth of jewelry sales is wanted but not a must. Resources and training will be provided.
Customer Engagement: Assist customers by providing expert guidance and a positive shopping experience.
Market Trends: Stay informed about fashion history, values, and market trends in jewelry.
Collaboration: Communicate with managers and buyers to understand the department's needs and provide input on procurement & inventory management.
Visual Merchandising: Implement visual merchandising strategies to showcase jewelry in an appealing and aesthetically pleasing manner.
In-Store and Pop-Up Events: Plan and execute events and promotions to attract customers and create a memorable shopping experience.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail.
- Must be comfortable calling and texting clients about events or new products.
- Proven track record of successfully increasing sales and growth within a brand or department.
- A deep passion for fashion, specifically in jewelry.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to merchandise.
- Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
- Outstanding communication skills to engage with customers and share your expertise.
- A strong network within the fashion and luxury goods community is a plus.
- Dress professionally
- Must be punctual and must open availability
- You will also be able to sell from all areas of Ladies Accessories (all jewelry brands including James Avery, handbags, watches, and sunglasses).
- Other job duties besides sales and customer service are processing shipment, merchandising, and executing markdowns.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
