Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their inquiries.
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and services that meet customer needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer understanding and interest.
- Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and product availability.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and stocked.
- Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling customer calls, providing information or resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Conduct successful Focus Days/Events to drive business
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
- Strong upselling skills with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and comfortable operating cash registers.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist customers effectively.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for engaging with customers both in-person and over the phone.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive shopping experiences.
