Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and maintaining the overall appearance of the store.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting products.
• Utilize effective communication skills to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate items.
• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling transactions with care.
• Maintain stock levels by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Supervise junior staff members when needed, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Handle customer inquiries over the phone with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and inventory tasks.

• Experience with cash registers is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
