We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man/Woman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of maintenance and repair skills, demonstrating the ability to tackle various tasks efficiently and effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in store.
• Able to properly paint small and large projects.
• Address plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and fixture installations
• Assemble furniture and equipment as needed.
• Paint walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to maintain aesthetic appeal. Repair damaged drywall.
• Respond promptly to service requests and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers to understand their needs and provide solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Handy Man/Woman or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance techniques across various trades (plumbing, carpentry, painting).
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills for effective client interactions.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 – 40 per week
