Customer Service Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Assist in stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the sales floor is visually appealing.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support.
• Utilize basic math skills for inventory management and retail math calculations.
• Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment for both customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, particularly in grocery store settings.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and stock management.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A proactive attitude towards learning new products and sales techniques is highly valued.
